We Are Safe in Kentucky

We want to let all of our friends know that we are safe after the storms roared through here on Friday. Mom was on her way to northern Indiana and got caught in a downpour of rain and hail just south of Indianapolis on Friday afternoon. She did arrive safely at her destination later that afternoon.

We are purring for all of those who have been left homeless and lost loved ones in that horrible tornado outbreak on Friday. Although our hometown wasn't hit, about twenty minutes north of us, Henryville, Indiana was virtually destroyed. Mom saw some of the destruction on her drive home yesterday.

  1. We've seen the news reports of the destruction of Henryville...it's just gone. Can't even imagine the horror.

We're very glad you're all safe.

Do you know you have the evil word verification on? Please consider turning it off for your readers. You have anonymous comments off, which would be where you'd get spam, and are only allowing Google accounts to leave comments. Have you tried Registered users (includes Open ID so Wordpress and other bloggers can also comment? Just suggestions. But many, many bloggers can not read the new format and we might not be able to leave this comment. But we will try.
