Happy Monday!!!

It is a beautiful and sunny Monday morning! We had a nice weekend with mom. She did a lot of knitting and we napped. Believe it or not, we aren't all that interested in mom's yarn when she knits. Sometimes Batman will grab at it, but generally we ignore it. Mom is knitting the second baby blanket of the year. She just finished one for her cousin's grandson and now she is working on another. There are four babies on the way and she is trying to make blankets for all of them.

And now we have something to share with you that made us laugh. One of our furiends posted this video from YouTube. It is a cat soap opera called Gatonovela. It made us laugh. Make sure you watch all of the episodes:

My Ten Questions

Katie Isabella tagged me last week to answer ten questions. Since it would be 150 Questions if all 15 of us answered, we drew straws and I (Clarissa) am the lucky winner!

1. Describe yourself in seven words: Girlie, Queen, Lovey, Sweet, Beautiful, Baby, Mellow

2. What keeps you up at night? Nothing. I'm almost 12 years old now. I sleep through the night with mom.

3. What would you like to be? Mom's baby girl (ok - mom says I will always be her baby girl)

4. What am I wearing right now? My beautiful Calico furs.

5. What scares me? The sucky monster. Mom says it's a vacuum.

6. Best and worst of bloggin. Catching up with my furriends is the best. Not having enough time to visit everyone every day is the worst.

7. Last website I visited. Sickthing's UK (an Alice Cooper website - mom made me go there).

8. One thing I'd like to change. I want more cuddle time with mom.

9. Slankets, yes or no? So stupid, so that would be a NO.

10. Tell something about the kitty who tagged you. See below:

Katie Isabella is a beautiful, sweet, kitty who is new to blogging. She recently found her forever home and I am oh so happy for her!!!

And now I am going to tag:

More On Fred

Fred had his final round of sub-q fluids this morning. Mom was in the waiting room and could hear Fred meowing from the back room. She took him home before going on to work. Fred is doing fine. He is eating more and seems to be feeling better. He is more active than normal, too. Mom doesn't know if that is from the fluids or if the appetite stimulant is making him "hyper". He's never been a real active cat. When Fiona was on the appetite stimulant last year, it seemed to make her anxious or nervous. She would pace around the house. When she would lay down she couldn't get comfortable.

We all want to thank you again for your prayers and purrs. We just know they help!!!

Wordless Wednesday: Sabeen Marie

Sabeen Marie was our friend from the Meowmail Forum. We know she was a senior kitty, but we don't know exactly how old she was. She had that awful cancer stuff, a tumor beneath her tongue. Her mama and the vet decided the kindest thing they could do would be to let her go. She has joined her sisfur, French Toast, at the Bridge.

UPDATE: Fred came home last night and the first thing he did was eat! The fluids have plump him up and he looks more like he did when he first joined our family. He ate a little bit several times last night. He also sang opera. Fred has never been a loud kitty, but last night he wouldn't shut up!!!! Mom took him back to the vet this morning for round two of the sub-q fluid. He also got his appetite stimulant pill (or half of one - he gets 1/2 pill twice a day). Mom was able to take him back home so he wouldn't have to stay at the vet's office all day. Thank you all for your prayers and purrs.
